What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Postcode Results has no accounts, no forms that send data to us, no analytics and no advertising cookies. The last postcode you checked is remembered in your own browser only, so the checker can show it next time.

Services your browser connects to

• Cloudflare delivers this website and, like any web host, processes your IP address to do so.
• Our own server supplies new results to pages that update live. Those requests carry nothing about you; like any web server it sees your IP address, which is not logged against anything you do here.
• The Postcode Lottery results service (postcodelottery.co.uk). When you use the postcode checker or the winners-near-you search, your browser sends the postcode you typed straight to the operator's public results service, which sees that postcode and your IP address. We do not receive or store it.
• postcodes.io, an open postcode service, turns a postcode you type into a location for the winners-near-you search. If you choose “use my location”, your browser asks your permission first and the location is only used to search, never sent to us.
